Loans and credit for temporary workers: understand, compare, choose

An independent portal on how to borrow when income depends on assignments: personal loans, car finance, leasing, mortgages, guarantees and fallback options.

Who this portal is for

Short assignment contracts, gaps between missions, pay that changes from one month to the next: lenders read a temporary agency worker’s profile differently from that of a permanent employee. This site gathers country-by-country guides for agency and temporary workers: what lenders look at, which proofs of income count most, and which guarantees and schemes exist.

Each guide points to real organisations that offer the service described (banks, credit unions, microfinance institutions, guarantee funds, industry bodies) so you can check conditions at the source.

How to use the site map

Start with the country where you work, then pick the type of financing (consumer, car, leasing, mortgage, debt consolidation) or your personal situation: no permanent contract, no deposit, with a guarantor or co-borrower, credit-register listing. The menu at the top of every page offers these three entry points, and search finds a topic by keyword.

Guides are written in the language of the country concerned; French and English are always one click away at the top of the page, other languages by code (ES, DE, NL…).

Three habits before you sign

Compare the total cost of credit (rate, fees, insurance), not just the monthly payment. Check that the lender is authorised in your country. Be wary of any offer that demands a payment before the funds are released or promises certain approval: no information site can guarantee a loan.

Keep a margin for gaps between assignments: a repayment sized on your best month becomes heavy when work slows down.
